The End by 2050??????

Today as you read through this blog, we, the human civilization, will put up 70 million tonnes of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in one day and this happens every single day.

The average numbers of category form five hurricanes have doubled in the past 30 years. We are seeing more forest fires and Greenland melting faster than we thought.

All these are happening together simultaneously and adding all these up will give us a very different picture of the future. A planetary climate shift awaits us that have potentially dire consequences for mankind.

It will cause mass extinction by 2050, more floods, more intense hurricanes, 20 feet sea level rise by 2100 which will lead to disappearance of nations like Bangladesh, meltdown of 80% ice caps by 2020 and almost 100% by 2050, decrease in agriculture food productivity, decrease in other food sources and shortage of fresh water only to name a few.

Yo! Shafs, welcome to the world of blogging!
Did you ever come across the global warming controversy/conspiracy theories? It’s awesome having you, of all people, join the club of people who are concerned about global warming ... but as you come along & try to get more people help out, the first thing you will face are people totally skeptical about the very existence and/or implications of global warming. “The disputed issues include the causes of increased global average air temperature, especially since the mid-20th century; whether the increase is real or partially an artifact of poor measurements; whether this warming trend is unprecedented or within normal climatic variations; estimates of climate sensitivity; predictions of additional warming; what the consequences are; and what actions” need to be taken yada yada yada… better check those stuffs out + the Kyoto protocol as soon as you get the time! Best of luck!
